Welcome to AAKC Academy, a learning environment where where learning extends beyond traditional desk work and worksheets. Our program is built on the belief that learning should be engaging, interactive, and meaningful.

We emphasize hands-on, play-based instruction through weekly themes that encourage curiosity while still building essential academic skills such as early literacy, fine motor development, and handwriting. Desk time is intentionally limited and used in short rotations, allowing children to stay active, focused, and excited about learning.

AAKC Academy is rooted in a commitment to thoughtful, child-centered education. Our programs are guided by a strong understanding of child development and instructional best practices, ensuring students receive the support they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Proof of Qualifications for all instructional personnel in accordance with section 1002.421(1)(h), F.S. You must show proof of any one of the following requirements for each teacher:  Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or completed transcript)  Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience (written proof of contacting the previous employer)  Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in K12th grade subjects (provide documentation such as certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.). Pre-K experience and certifications would not meet this requirement.

Pursuant to section 1002.421(1)(j), F.S., you must publish on the school’s website or provide in a written format, information for parents regarding the school, including, but not limited to:  Programs and services that the school offers.  The qualifications of classroom teachers.  A statement that “a parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.”
